Field Trip Fun at St Lawrence High School!!
Field trips are an essential part of a child’s education, as they offer beneficial opportunities to explore the world beyond the classroom. The Grade 1 students of St. Lawrence High School and Junior College were taken for a field trip to Khot Dairy, Nashik.
They learnt about how we get milk from cows and also about other farm animals. This Field trip helped students to see in real life what they learn about in their textbooks. The experience was way better than a traditional classroom, as children were able to participate in it physically. They got a chance to see many farm animals such as cows, goats, sheep and ducks and they were very excited to be around so many cute animals.
They also got more information on how cow’s milk is extracted and stored in vats. The dairy owners also shared with the students the daily routines of the animals and how they’re taken care of and more. The children were very satisfied on learning so many new things in the course of one visit.
