Primary Lawrentian Celebrating the 77th Independence Day
St.Lawrence High School & Junior College embarked on the journey of celebrating 77 years of completion of Independence of our country.
The students of the primary section excitedly poured themselves into the celebration of Independence Day, despite the inclement weather. The school looked festive with wonderful decorations made with origami in tri colours, and all pictures related to our country everywhere, which symbolised the unity in diversity of our country.
This time the Independent day celebration evoked a lot of enthusiastic participation, which began with the students of grade 1 who sang a patriotic song, the students of grade 3 performed a spectacular dance which added a lively and colorful dimension to our celebration, the students of grade 4 gave wonderful speeches in all the three languages which enchanted the feeling of enthusiasm and patriotism.
To conclude the celebration with the quote which imbibes the feeling of respect to the motherland,
“May the tricolor always fly high and our nation remain strong and united”.
