Trees are a precious natural resource, and we must value them and treat them with care.

To teach the importance of a tree, St. Lawrence High School and Junior College organized various activities for the Grade 1 students.

By telling them how important trees are in our lives, love was created in the hearts of the students and to increase the feeling of love, the students were taken near the trees. Here they expressed their love for the trees by hugging them.

They also learnt how to plant trees through this project. Students were also involved in a tree planting activity with the help of our gardener uncle. Trees provide many things like oxygen, food, shelter and more to all living creatures. Saving trees will lead to a greener and healthier environment and in turn lead to us being healthier and more active.
