In St. Lawrence High School and Junior College we aim to foster students who will make solid global citizens.

Geography is the study of the world’s physical features and the Grade 2 students learnt this with the help of the globe. They saw how the world is divided into chunks of land and chunks of water and how the formation of continents and oceans happens. They were better able to understand where their city and country is located and where in the world they stay.

Such exposure to the world with virtual tours is vital to make students understand how their position on earth affects their climate, food availability and other such factors. Also the value education at the core of teaching this concept was to make them understand that it is our priority to take care of mother Earth by not polluting it.
