The Lawrentian encounter with their school!!
“Education is not just about going to school and getting a degree. It’s about widening your knowledge and absorbing the truth about life.” – Shakuntala Devi
At St.Lawrence High School and Junior College we believe that all values can be inculcated in students from an early age. Our Grade 2 students learnt about their school on a detailed level so that they can truly appreciate the institution that they study in. They explored various places in the school like their Library, Computer lab, Physics lab, Principal’s office, Staff room and many more.
The students learnt the value of respect, gratitude and how to take care of our class and school resources. They saw how it takes a team of many people to keep their school neat and clean and to provide them with all the necessary resources that help them learn on a daily basis. Whether it is the teachers or the menial staff or the transport staff or the accounts office staff or anyone else – they all come together to make the school function easily and each child was taught how to appreciate all of it.
The children loved this session and started respecting every aspect of their home away from home.
