We at St. Lawrence High School and Junior College always believe in moulding our future generations into the best version of themselves. This time through the simple act of narrating stories we aimed to make a huge difference in each child’s personality development.

Our Grade 2 tiny tots were introduced to their first story from their Kathalaya story sessions – which aim to dive deeper into the art of story telling.

The teacher narrated the story “Lolli’s little world” with different props and activities were conducted based on it thereafter – over a period of 4 sessions.

This story tells us about a little girl ( Lolli ) who drew some shapes and with that she created her own story of her little world, where she expressed her imagination of this beautiful world.

The motive behind this story was to make them imagine their own world by creating shapes into fantastic imaginary pictures. Thus they were encouraged to embrace their unique imagination and create a beautiful world of their own.
