Today’s children have easier access to information and hence are very aware about things in their world and are very intelligent. Thus, as a part of the brain activation segment, we at St. Lawrence High School and Junior College, introduced the students to the concept of – how to think fast.

They were made to play various brain games that stimulated their minds and improved their different cognitive functions like memory, problem solving and critical thinking. They were shown cards with many pictures on it and had to remember what all they saw. It was a way to make them retain information even though there was an overload of it.

Every child rose up to the challenge and played with enthusiasm. Even if they found it hard to remember the details, they had a great time trying and that was the best part of this activity.
