“Halloween is not only about putting on a costume, but it’s about finding the imagination and costume within ourselves.”
- Elvis Duran
There was a grand celebration in St. Lawrence High School & Junior College by the students of Grade 1 & 2, where they dressed up in various costumes to celebrate the spirit of Helloween.
The students came dressed in various spooky costumes with the matching makeup to mark the welcoming of good spirits and driving away of the bad spirits in their lives.
The students were taught how this festival is especially celebrated in USA & UK but now we also celebrate it in India every year on 31st October.
There was a spooky decor in the corridors and the entire school was decked up with Halloween-themed decorations.
This event was organised for the students to encourage them to appreciate differences in cultures and customs and also to make them aware of global festivals and their values.
