“The Splash of Colours” at St.Lawrence High School & Junior College!
“There is no friend as loyal as a book.” – Ernest Hemingway
Storytelling can be a powerful tool in education. To make our grade 3 and 4 students love books they were made to read the story – “The Splash of Colours”, as a part of their Kathalaya story session.
The students enjoyed the story with the help of colourful flashcards which made them curious about the story and they even coloured a beautiful Panchrangi bird drawing, which was the main character of the story.
The activity helped them to enhance their creativity and innovation of their art work. The students imbibed many valuable lessons from this story that every mistake is an opportunity to learn and grow, learning with enthusiasm is the key to unlocking your potential and lastly be satisfied with what you have.
