What do cows eat?

At St. Lawrence and High School and Junior College the students learnt how cows eat grass and greens which keeps them healthy. They were introduced to the concept of how the cows are made to graze in confined spaces.

The young artists also did an art activity in which they stuck some grass on a cow template to depict that we need to grow more plants to let the animals eat healthy food.

They coloured the udder pink, as the calf would like to drink healthy milk if we feed better grass to the cows. Such lessons taught at a young age help the students to understand the environment and how to take care of the animals around us.
