The Grade 4 students of St. Lawrence High School and Junior College recently made a powerful statement, uniting to advocate for a cleaner, greener future by saying NO to crackers.
With enthusiasm and determination, these young eco-warriors took to the streets, raising awareness about the harmful effects of firecrackers on our environment, health, and animal welfare. Their message was clear: it’s time to celebrate responsibly!
Organized by the school, the rally aimed to educate and inspire the community to adopt eco-friendly practices, especially during festivals. The students’ passion was evident as they displayed vibrant posters and banners, championing a cracker-free celebration.
“We want to make a difference!” declared the Head Boy of the Junior Student Council. “Crackers harm our planet, and we want to protect it.”
The event was a resounding success, with students, teachers, and school management coming together to support the cause. This rally sent a strong message to the community: our children care about their future, and we should, too.
